ESA was founded in August 2020 by Gerard Easley, who brings over 30 years of law enforcement and security experience to private investigation and security services. Based in Statesboro, Georgia, we provide statewide coverage with dual licensing in both private investigation and security guard services.
Gerard's career spans the Georgia State Patrol, Fulton County criminal investigations, six years as a DEA task force agent conducting undercover operations, the U.S. Federal Protective Service, the White House Security Specialist office under Presidents Bush and Obama, and the U.S. Department of Justice ATF as a GS-13 in threat assessment and intelligence. He also served as a staff instructor for the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security, training foreign law enforcement agencies in antiterrorism operations across Africa and Asia.
This background in federal law enforcement operations, intelligence work, surveillance, interviewing, and threat assessment translates directly into how we run top-notch investigations and security operations today. Our team operates with thorough field and technical training, is capable of bi-lingual operations in English and Spanish, and maintains the highest standards of professionalism.

ESA is based in Statesboro with operations throughout Georgia. We deploy investigators and security personnel statewide based on case requirements.
Through reciprocal licensing agreements, we also work cases that begin in Georgia and extend into Florida, California, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina, and Alabama.
Our long-term expansion plans include full state licensing in North Carolina, Florida, and Alabama.
